BACKGROUND CHECKS
You will receive an email invitation from Sterling Volunteers to complete a Background Check. There is a fee per applicant averaging $50.

PART TWO
CHILD ABUSE MANDATED REPORTER TRAINING
Each adult living in a Safe Refuge Host Family home must complete Mandated Reporter Training.
If you have completed this training through a different organization in the past 2 years, please click HERE.
If you have not completed this training or your certificate is more than 2 years old, please use THIS LINK to complete a FREE Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training. Scroll to the bottom of the page and complete the option that says “VOLUNTEERS”. After completing the training, upload your certificate HERE.
LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING
You will receive an email with instructions for completing a Live Scan Fingerprinting. There is a fee per applicant.
TRAINING & INTERVIEW
Ministry Leads are required to complete Safe Refuge Volunteer Training. Ministry Leads also meet with the Safe Refuge staff for a Ministry Lead Interview & Training. We will email you with instructions.
